This new corner terrace house is our testament: it is possible to build a simple, modern yet tropical climate-friendly house without an enormous budget. Sited on a long plot of land, it consists of a simple white rectangular box resting on a series of steel-clad columns. Uniquely, the living and dining spaces are situated at the rear where the view and orientation towards the external landscape are much more pleasant. A series of full-height glass sliding doors enclosing this area can be pushed out of sight to make the space more open and relaxed. At the front side of the house, the main entrance area has a 2-storey space on one side with stairs leading to the upstairs bedroom. The continuous timber pergola above allows abundant light into the gallery hall below it. [ View 3D ]
